Vipin Chamakkala is a Specialist at Sequoia Capital where he builds relationships with technology leaders to understand their challenges and identify opportunities. Sequoia helps the daring build legendary companies from idea to IPO and beyond.

Previously, Vipin helped build an enterprise venture fund, Work-Bench, and was instrumental in growing the enterprise tech ecosystem in New York. At Work-Bench, Vipin led investments in cloud infrastructure, Data, DevOps, and AI/ML. He worked closely with Work-Bench investments in Semmle (acquired), CoreOS (acquired), CockroachDB, Dialpad, Algorithmia, FireHydrant, Tamr, Alkymi, Windmill Engineering, and more. Vipin started his career at Bank of America in the Office of the CIO, working with BofA technology executives on top technology pain-points and working with startups and venture capital firms to identify solutions.

Vipin graduated from Fordham University in 2010 where he focused on Finance / Entrepreneurship.
